Safety

Both the Wagoneer S and Vistiq have child safety locks to prevent children from opening the rear doors. The Wagoneer S has power child safety locks, allowing the driver to activate and deactivate them from the driver's seat and to know when they're engaged. The Vistiq’s child locks have to be individually engaged at each rear door with a manual switch. The driver can’t know the status of the locks without opening the doors and checking them.

Both the Wagoneer S and the Vistiq have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, driver knee airbags, side-impact head airbags, front and rear seatbelt pretensioners, height adjustable front shoulder belts, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors, rear cross-path warning, driver alert monitors and available four-wheel drive.

Warranty

Jeep pays for scheduled maintenance on the Wagoneer S for 2 years and unlimited miles. Jeep will pay for tire rotations, cabin filter replacement, brake fluid replacement, inspections, and any other required maintenance (up to 2 visits). Cadillac only pays for the first scheduled maintenance visit on the Vistiq.

There are over 4 times as many Jeep dealers as there are Cadillac dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the Wagoneer S’ warranty.

Tires and Wheels

The Wagoneer S has a standard easy tire fill system. When inflating the tires, the vehicle’s integrated tire pressure sensors keep track of the pressure as the tires fill and tell the driver when the tires are inflated to the proper pressure. The Vistiq doesn’t offer vehicle monitored tire inflation.

Chassis

The Jeep Wagoneer S may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 600 to 650 pounds less than the Cadillac Vistiq.

The Wagoneer S is 1 foot, 1.2 inches shorter than the Vistiq, making the Wagoneer S easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The Wagoneer S is 6.2 inches shorter in height than the Vistiq, making the Wagoneer S much easier to wash and garage and drive (lower center of gravity).

The front grille of the Wagoneer S uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Vistiq doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

Cargo Capacity

The Wagoneer S 4dr Sport Utility has a much larger cargo volume than the Vistiq with its rear seat up (30.6 vs. 15.2 cubic feet).

Towing

Standard Trailer Sway Control on the Wagoneer S uses the Electronic Stability Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Vistiq doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.

Ergonomics

Heated windshield washer nozzles are standard on the Wagoneer S to prevent washer fluid and nozzles from freezing and help continue to keep the windshield clear in sub-freezing temperatures. The Vistiq doesn’t offer heated windshield washer nozzles.

Optional air conditioned front and rear seats keep the Wagoneer S’ passengers comfortable and take the sting out of hot leather in summer. The Vistiq doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats for the second row.
